The 5th Contracting Squadron at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price supply contract to Eagle Safe Surfaces Colorado Inc. doing business as Eagle & Myslik Inc. for 26 SIB Cassette Runway Brushes, Part Number 4021593, with an estimated total value of $190,000. This acquisition is conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 12.102(a) and justified as a sole-source requirement under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) due to the exclusive compatibility of the product with the existing SIB 18ft-R28-Split Core system and the absence of any other qualified suppliers. The brushes are critical for maintaining snow removal equipment and are required to ensure the integrity of a 10-year manufacturer warranty, which is voided if non-SIB components are used. The procurement is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under FAR 19.5, and while no competitive solicitation exists, interested parties may submit written information demonstrating their ability to meet the technical specification by the deadline of Monday, June 1, 2026, at 4:00 PM CDT. The contract will be delivered to Minot AFB, North Dakota, with no specific packaging, preservation, or marking requirements beyond commercial standards, and no formal FAR 52-series clauses, inspection criteria, or invoicing instructions are detailed in the documentation. The contracting officer, SrA Tristan Cox, has signed the determination of sole source, and the acquisition falls under PSC 3825 and NAICS 333120. No payment office, COR/COTR details, or delivery schedule beyond the general timeframe are provided, and the contract value includes any potential options without further specification.
