AGENCY: US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Europe District (NAU) 3. NAICS: 541330, Engineering Services 4. CONTRACT SPECIALIST: Erica Taylor, erica.j.taylor@usace.army.mil 5. DESCRIPTION: THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. USACE NAU intends to award a new firm fixed price "C" type service contract for the Consolidated Intelligence Center (CIC) Construction Surveillance Services (CSS) to provide services in accordance with the approved Construction Surveillance Plan (CSP). NAU is requesting approval for the sole source procurement of prime contractor services that will be used for the security oversight and security inspections of the current construction of the CIC. M.C. Dean is the intended sole source prime contractor for this work as M.C. Dean, Inc. and is the only service provider that can support, operate or maintain the current security oversight operations and inspections in accordance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) No. 705 - Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF). The statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(B), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
