Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source to EVAPAR for Generator Repair Services for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Memphis District, Contracting Branch, intends to issue a commercial Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a sole-source basis to EVAPAR pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a Single Source. This procurement is for diagnosis and repair of a Generac generator located at the USACE Caruthersville, Missouri site, 700 North Truman Boulevard, Caruthersville, MO 63830. The generator is identified on the repair estimate as Generac model QT08046AVSN, serial number 3689047.

The reported condition is an overspeed/emergency-stop alarm that will not clear. A previous service provider replaced the emergency-stop component, but the action did not correct the issue.
