AI Contract Overview
The Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center San Diego intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract to IEC Infrared Systems LLC for camera troubleshooting on the Multi-Mission Emergency Response Truck (MERT) for EODMU3 Detachment Southwest. Because previous remote troubleshooting attempts were unsuccessful and IEC exclusively manufactures and distributes the audio/visual system components, an in-person diagnosis is required to restore the systems to full capacity. The anticipated award date is on or before September 30, 2026, under NAICS code 811310. Although this is a notice of intent for a sole source award, the government will consider capability statements from other interested sources to determine if a competitive procurement is necessary. Interested parties must submit a capability statement including management, technical, and cost data, as well as proof of authorized distribution, to Rebecca Dang via email by 3:00 PM Hawaii Standard Time on September 2, 2026. This action is designated as a total small business set-aside.
