The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville plans to award a sole source contract to Bouldin and Lawson to procure one Ordnance Deformer for the NCBC Gulfport Qualified Recycling Program. This equipment is essential for the disposal and recycling of small arms brass casings collected by tenant commands. This sole source acquisition is classified under NAICS code 333922 with a business size standard of 500 employees. The government's decision to bypass competitive bids aligns with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), emphasizing the specialized nature of the equipment and the vendor’s unique capabilities.
