Notice of Project - Phase 4 Upgrades CVWPCC

The Comox Valley Regional District is planning Phase 4 upgrades to the Comox Valley Water Pollution Control Centre to enhance the treatment capacity, reliability, and long-term performance of the wastewater treatment facility. The project scope involves extensive improvements, including the installation of new headworks, filtration, and UV disinfection systems, alongside associated civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, instrumentation, controls, and site works. All performance activities will take place at the Comox Valley Water Pollution Control Centre. This procurement is currently in the pre-solicitation stage, with a tentative schedule subject to change and pending Ministry approval of the Liquid Waste Management Plan. The anticipated procurement timeline includes the release of a contractor pre-qualification process in Spring 2027, the establishment of a shortlist in Spring or Summer 2027, and an invitation to tender in Summer 2027. The contract award is expected to occur in the Summer or Fall of 2027.
