NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP) for TASK BASED INFORMATICS PROFESSIONAL SERVICES (TBIPS)

Transport Canada is seeking specialized IT contractors under the Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) framework to modernize critical transportation security and oversight systems, including the establishment of the Preclearance Access Program and the enhancement of the Transportation Security Clearance Program, Civil Aviation Oversight and Application Rationalization, and related digital services. Each resource is expected to contribute between 200 and 210 days of effort over a two-year contract period, with performance taking place across Canada. All bidders must comply with stringent security requirements, as the contract mandates a Secret security clearance for both corporate and personnel levels under the Contract Security Program of Public Works and Government Services Canada; however, suppliers are not required to hold active clearances at the time of bid submission.
