Nutanix Renewal

Granite School District is soliciting bids for the renewal of Nutanix software and associated support services under solicitation number AL26-020-IFB, with a deadline for responses on May 26, 2026. Only vendors authorized as Nutanix partners are eligible to submit bids, and the award is anticipated to go to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor, reflecting a lowest price technically acceptable approach. The contract period is aligned with the District's fiscal year, from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. All deliverables must conform to detailed technical specifications and comply with state and federal laws including Section 508, HIPAA, ADA, and Utah Administrative Code provisions on accessibility and data retention. The District retains full ownership of all custom-developed intellectual property, data, and deliverables generated under the contract. Hardware and software are covered by one-year warranties from acceptance, and electronic deliveries must be made through approved portals, while physical shipments follow F.O.B. Destination terms with the contractor bearing all transportation costs. Contractors must provide proof of commercial general liability, workers’ compensation, and cyber security insurance, with cyber coverage required at a minimum of $5 million for data breach liabilities. All personnel must pass federal criminal background checks, be verified through Utah’s employment eligibility system, and operate under a drug-free workplace policy. Subcontracts and assignment of duties are prohibited without prior written consent, and the District retains the right to terminate with 30 days' notice if funding is reduced or legal changes occur, with no liability for post-notice costs. Invoices must be submitted within 30 days of delivery, exclude taxes due to the District’s tax-exempt status, and reference the contract and purchase order numbers. The District does not waive sovereign immunity, and disputes must be brought in the U.S. District Court for Utah. No automatic renewals or options are permitted, and any public acknowledgment by the contractor must credit the District with prior approval. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the Bonfire Utah U3P portal or as sealed hard copies to the District’s purchasing office; email and fax submissions are not accepted.
