Bidders proposing an Equivalent or a Substitute Product must indicate the brand name and model and/or Part Number and the NCAGE they are offering. The previous bid solicitation was reserved for beneficiaries of three Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement(s) (CLCAs) (the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement (2005), the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement (1993), and the Inuvialuit Final Agreement (1984)), and subject to the Nunavut Directive. However, as no compliant bids were received in response to the original bid solicitation, this bid solicitation is re-issued with a conditional set-aside under the under the federal government Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business. For more information on Indigenous business requirements of the Set-aside Program for Indigenous Business, see Annex 9.4, Supply Manual. Indigenous conditional set-asides: This procurement is conditionally set-aside. This means that that the procurement is open to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses. However, if two or more Indigenous businesses submit a responsive bid, then the procurement is set aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB), and only the Indigenous firms who submitted a bid would be assessed. The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
