Oakland Township Municipal Building

The Oakland Township Supervisors will receive sealed bids on a Single prime contract project until 4:00 p.m. prevailing time on July 7th, 2024. Bids shall be submitted online via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud during a special meeting of the Oakland Township Supervisors which will begin at 6:30 p.m., on July 9th, 2024, at the Township Building located on Riverside Dr., Oakland Township, Susquehanna. Bidding documents are available at no cost via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the “Messages > Public Q&A” feature in PennBid no later than seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of bids. Bids are invited on the following: The work includes the construction of a 42 foot 8 inch by 76 foot 8 inch and two 8 foot by 8 foot covered entryways, masonry building including excavation, concrete footing and floor slabs, masonry exterior walls, wood framing, insulation, wood trusses, asphalt shingle roof, gypsum wall board, wood and metal door windows, overhead garage doors, construction of one ADA compliant bathroom, painting, flooring, electric work including power wiring and lighting, plumbing and construction of a heating system. A certified check or bank draft payable to Oakland Township, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable Surety in an amount equal to 10% of the total Bid. Shall be submitted with each bid. The Supervisors reserve the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities in the Bidding. Bids may be held by the Supervisors for a period not to exceed 45 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidder, prior to the award of the Contract. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.
