THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE


Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Albany, Georgia has a requirement for the assembly, disassembly, installation, relocation and disposal services of government-owned or possessed furniture. This requirement includes moving and staging furniture, as well as pre-packed office supplies, from various base facilities to new locations as directed by the government aboard the base.


Typical items include but are not limited to modular furniture and partition panels, filing cabinets, tables, safes and shelving, desks, chairs, and various types of cabinets.


The government will pack all non-furniture items prior to the contractor's arrival. The contractor is responsible for transporting and staging these pre-packed items at the destination facility as directed by the designated government representative.


It is the Government’s intention to issue a labor- hour contract. The proposed acquisition will be 100% set aside for Small Business. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 484210- Used household and Office Goods Moving.  The Small Business Size Standard is $34 million. The Government will solicit and award this contract using Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services in accordance with FAR Part 12.


This pre-solicitation is not a request for quotes. The solicitation will be posted on or about five (5) days after this posting and made available on the Contract Opportunities Portal located at www.sam.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov. Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete at the SAM website.
