The OO-ALC/PKESA, Hill AFB Utah, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a FFP contract for office furniture, which meets Class 1 Division 2 fire safety requirements, to the responsible quoter, whose proposal conforms to the solicitation, which will be most advantageous to the government. The Government reserves the right to not make an award at all. The purchase specification establishes the minimum performance, safety, design, and installation requirements for office furniture at Hill AFB, UT. The 309th Maintenance Support Group, AMXG Engineer group, is responsible for repairing aircraft and has built a new facility for aircraft maintenance (Building 674). This new facility needs office furniture, which meets Class 1 Division 2 fire safety requirements. Class 1 Division 2 requires that all electrical outlets and wiring harness in modular furniture be located 18 inches off the ground or higher, and have metal skinned exteriors, since the panels are located in the hangar.
