The contract involves acquiring two 1-terabyte SSD hard drives to enhance the performance of two MicroFocus systems, jfs461951 and jfs440927, which are being transitioned from the Mainframe to a non-Mainframe environment. Two of our large systems, CRIS-E and Child Care, are being moved off of the Mainframe. We are loading large amounts of data into this non-Mainframe, MicroFocus solution. With the current hardware, setup, it is taking over two weeks to load ONE large CRISE DB. I am requesting two - 1 terabyte SSD hard disk drives to add to EACH of these MicroFocus PCs: jfs461951 and jfs440927. This cuts load time from weeks down to hours.
