The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the inspection, preparation, and permanent restoration of roadway surfaces impacted by utility excavations, trenching activities, and general pavement deterioration. Contractors shall be responsible for saw cutting, excavation, removal of unsuitable materials, installation of appropriate base and sub-base materials, and placement of asphalt or other approved surface treatments in accordance with city specifications. Work will be performed on an as-needed basis throughout the City of New Haven, and locations may vary depending on operational priorities and emergency conditions.
