The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Cornerstone Metrology Service, Inc. for the on-site calibration of 216 pieces of laboratory equipment from over 15 different manufacturers. This action is justified under FAR 6.103.1 due to the unique capability of the selected vendor to perform on-site calibrations while ensuring continuity with prior calibration results, a requirement no other vendor can satisfy. No request for quotes will be issued, and the notice serves solely as an announcement of intent; however, other vendors may submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet the exact technical, quality, and scheduling requirements by June 8, 2026, at 4:00 PM PST. All submissions must reference solicitation number N6893626SIMACQD550000E5500000267 and be sent to Donell Sims at the designated email address. Participating vendors must maintain an active registration in SAM.gov and be certified through the Defense Logistics Information Services to access Controlled Unclassified Information or Export Controlled Information. Access to such information is restricted to a single designated Data Custodian per CAGE code who must have an approved DD 2345 form on file with the Defense Logistics Agency. Vendors are responsible for coordinating with their CAGE code’s Data Custodian to ensure proper authorization. Processing submissions and verifying SAM and certification statuses may take 10 to 15 days, so proactive registration and compliance are strongly encouraged. The point of contact for inquiries is Donell Sims, with Deborah Sorem available as a secondary contact, and all proposals must be submitted via email prior to the stated deadline.
