The subject contract is a multiple award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that provides for a collaborative working group of a variety of industry partners to work as a single extended entity to develop, evolve, update via Pre-planned Product Improvement (P3I) initiatives, manage, and provide configuration control of the Open Mission Systems and Universal Command and Control Interface standards, collectively referred to as the Open Architecture standards. The collaborative working group shall assist and coordinate with program offices adopting and using the OA Standards and address and respond to the opinions of independent assessments of Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) and other entities which are often leveraged by the Air Force.
