The Florida Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for janitorial services at the District One Southwest Area Office, known as the Swift Center, under solicitation number DOT-ITB-27-1357-CB, with a submission deadline of May 28, 2026. Vendors must also certify compliance with Florida’s Drug-Free Workplace laws, avoid boycotts of Israel and business operations in Cuba or Syria, and submit a completed Vendor Certification Regarding Scrutinized Companies Lists. Pricing is structured around monthly services and a twelve-month supply of consumables as outlined in Exhibit B, with payment based on approved unit rates that include salaries, fringe benefits, overhead, and operating margin. Invoices must be submitted monthly to the Facilities Management office in Bartow with detailed documentation of hours and costs, and are subject to withholding if performance standards are unmet. The contract covers the fiscal year from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, and may be renewed for up to three years or extended for six months under specific conditions, contingent upon satisfactory performance and fund availability. The Department reserves the right to inspect facilities and personnel prior to award, conduct on-site evaluations, and withhold payment or terminate the agreement if services fall below required standards. All bids must be submitted electronically by the deadline in a single PDF attachment not exceeding 25MB, with no information in the email body, and must be signed in ink by an authorized representative.
