SDSU Metro Center Custodial Services

The purpose of this request for proposal (RFP) is to establish consistent cleaning standards, service frequencies, and custodial expectations for all facilities within the South Dakota State University (SDSU) Metro Center, 2400 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57105. These standards are intended to support a safe, clean, sanitary, and professional learning and working environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. As a flagship presence for South Dakota State University in Sioux Falls, the SDSU Metro Center serves as a centerpiece facility that reflects the university's commitment to excellence, professionalism, and community engagement. Maintaining a consistently clean and well-presented environment is essential to showcasing the facility and creating a positive experience for students, employees, partners and visitors. Custodial services are provided in alignment with operational priorities, building usage, occupancy levels, and APPA Custodial Staffing Guidelines. The service frequencies outlined in this document represent baseline expectations and may be adjusted as needed to accommodate seasonal conditions, special events, emergency response requirements, or other facility operational demands. In addition, all inquiries and the State’s response will be posted on the state’s e-procurement system. Offerors may not rely on any other statements, either of a written or oral nature, that alter any specification or other term or condition of this RFP. Offerors will be notified in the same manner as indicated above regarding any modifications to this RFP.
