Department of Forestry Headquarters Janitorial Services

The Virginia Department of Forestry is soliciting bids for routine and periodic custodial services at its headquarters, the James W. Gamer Building in Charlottesville, Virginia. The contract requires a qualified provider to furnish all labor, supervision, and transportation for daily cleaning of offices, meeting rooms, corridors, restrooms, and common areas from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The scope includes weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks, with exterior window cleaning provided on an as-needed basis. The initial performance period runs from the date of ratification through November 20, 2027, with the possibility of four optional one-year renewals. This is a small business set-aside prioritizing DSBSD-certified micro or small businesses. Eligible bidders must have at least three years of experience in commercial janitorial services, provide four relevant references, and submit a proposed staffing plan including a site supervisor's resume.
