The contract covers the procurement of six Masimo MightySat RX pulse oximeters, a medical device specifically engineered for use in dynamic patient transport and movement environments where physiological readings may be compromised by shivering or cold-induced bodily movements. The device measures pulse rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), and perfusion index (PI) and is powered by two standard AAA alkaline batteries, with an expected battery life of approximately 1800 spot checks. All units must be packaged commercially in sealed unit containers protected against damage and shipped in suitable exterior containers to ensure safe delivery via common carrier to the designated FPO address, with packaging and labeling strictly adhering to Medical Marking Standard No. 1, which supersedes MIL-STD-129.
