The Texas Facilities Commission is seeking bids for a cleaning contract to service multiple parking garages at the University of Texas in Austin following home football games in 2025. The scope includes comprehensive cleaning of three garages with a total of 3,011 parking spaces and over a million square feet, involving trash removal, sweeping, mopping, glass and debris cleanup, and disinfecting areas affected by vomit, urine, or feces. The cleaning must occur the day after each game, starting no later than 6 a.m. and finishing by 3 p.m., with the possibility of specific garage cleaning orders based on event schedules. Contractors are required to provide a dumpster for trash disposal, deliver it before each game, and remove it promptly afterward. The contract also emphasizes callback services, requiring the contractor to respond within 30 minutes during regular hours and within an hour outside those hours, at no additional cost, to address any issues identified during post-cleaning inspections. All personnel involved must wear protective gear, including gloves, and utilize specified cleaning equipment such as power blowers, heavy-duty trash bags, shovels, brooms, and disinfectants. The contract period aligns with the 2025 football season, with key dates for issuing the invitation for bids, questions, and responses outlined. The contract value is estimated between $50,000 and $150,000, and the primary point of contact is Heather Goll at the Texas Facilities Commission. This procurement is conducted under the NAICS code 812990, and interested vendors can find more details and submit their bids through the designated online portal.
