The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Peak International Group Ltd. for an equipment maintenance agreement covering two Peak Scientific Genius XE35 nitrogen gas generators, identified by serial numbers 722100430 and 724060569, which are critical to supporting mass spectrometers and DNA sequencers within the Biotechnology Core Facility Branch. The service contract mandates a Complete Plan 48/72 Service Plan (SL3a-Tier-NA), including on-site service with a maximum 48-hour response time, unlimited parts replacement, engineer labor and travel, priority technical support, and one scheduled preventative maintenance visit per year. Peak Scientific is the sole authorized source for original equipment manufacturer parts and services, as the company does not train, authorize, or support any third-party vendors for maintenance or repair, making competition impossible under federal procurement rules. The procurement is justified under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) due to the exclusive nature of OEM parts and service authorization. The National Institute of Standards and Technology NAICS code 811210 applies to this requirement. Interested parties must submit a capability statement not exceeding two pages in length, using 10-point font or larger, in Microsoft Word or PDF format, by 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on July 22, 2026, exclusively via email to zsm9@cdc.gov. No telephone inquiries or offers will be accepted. The government will evaluate submissions solely to determine whether competitive procurement is feasible or if the sole source award should proceed. The anticipated award date is on or before August 1, 2026, and this notice is not a solicitation for competitive bids.

59--ELECTRONIC COMPONEN, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OFThe U.S. Navy’s Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, intends to award a sole-source contract to WARD LEONARD CT LLC for the repair of two electronic components identified by NSN 7H-5998-013160668-GL and part number 948E332G1, intended for the Sub Engineering Systems. This repair requirement is authorized under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302 due to the exclusive status of the vendor as the Original Equipment Manufacturer, with no other sources capable of performing the repair without access to proprietary data or designs solely held by the contractor. The Government does not own the technical data rights necessary to obtain support from alternate suppliers, making this source the only viable option. Deliverables are to be shipped to W25G1U, W1A8 DLA Distribution in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, with UID requirements and Buy American Act clauses applicable. The procurement will proceed under FAR Part 15 using negotiated procedures and will not follow commercial item acquisition policies under FAR Part 12. The solicitation, identified as N0010426QYABY, is anticipated to be released on July 31, 2026, with proposals due by August 31, 2026, and an award targeted for September 15, 2026. The contract duration will be one year, and all submissions must be made electronically via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) portal; no hard copies or telephone inquiries will be accepted. While the notice initially indicated a Total Small Business Set-Aside, the contract data reflects that this classification is not accurate, and the procurement is not restricted to small businesses. All responsible parties may submit capability statements within 45 days of the synopsis publication for consideration, though no competitive solicitation is planned unless new evidence emerges that contradicts the sole-source justification. Interested vendors must contact Taylor Weidman at taylor.m.weidman2.civ@us.navy.mil to express capability, and all responses will be evaluated solely to determine whether competition is feasible.

The requirement is classified under NAICS code 811210 with a small business size standard of $19.5 million in annual revenue and is structured as a total small business set-aside, meaning only small businesses can compete. Vendors must submit comprehensive responses including company details, DUNS and CAGE codes, tax ID, certification of small business status, and whether they will perform the work directly or subcontract. A mandatory capability statement must demonstrate technical expertise and experience relevant to performing inspection services for patient lift systems. For Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, strict subcontracting limitations apply: no more than 50% of the contract value may be paid to non-VIP-listed subcontractors, and vendors must comply with VA-specific clauses requiring certification and potential documentation of compliance. RFI: Specialized Domestic and International Cold-Chain Logistics Services for the International Reagent Resource (IRR)The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, through the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, is seeking information from commercial logistics providers capable of supporting the domestic and international cold-chain distribution of diagnostic reagents, influenza viruses, molecular detection materials, and other temperature-sensitive biological products used for respiratory pathogen detection. These materials, handled and prepared at the American Type Culture Collection facility in Manassas, Virginia, require strict temperature controls—including refrigerated, frozen, and ultra-low temperature environments—as well as compliance with IATA, ICAO, DOT, and international regulatory standards. The logistics provider must ensure end-to-end chain-of-custody, real-time shipment tracking, validated packaging, and continuous cold-chain monitoring throughout transit, with the ability to respond to excursions and maintain product integrity under demanding conditions. The program also demands robust customs clearance support, import/export documentation assistance, dry ice replenishment during long-haul transit, and customer service available across multiple time zones to facilitate global delivery to public health labs, ministries of health, and research institutions. The request for information seeks detailed capabilities of vendors, including experience transporting biological and medical products, cold-chain infrastructure, temperature ranges supported, monitoring technologies, customs brokerage expertise, and international shipping reach, particularly in support of government and public health entities. Respondents must describe surge capacity for responding to seasonal influenza events or emerging disease outbreaks, quality management systems such as ISO or GDP compliance, IATA Dangerous Goods certifications, and performance metrics for on-time delivery and shipment integrity. The CDC is evaluating market readiness to inform future procurement requirements and is not soliciting bids or pricing at this stage. Responses must be submitted electronically in PDF format within ten pages, and must include both primary and secondary points of contact. The opportunity is open to all qualified providers, with no obligation to issue a contract, and submission is voluntary and at the respondent’s expense.
