Permit No. 11540-1 – Existing Pump, Well, and Pipeline Upgrades Project

Permit No. 11540-1, titled the Existing Pump, Well, and Pipeline Upgrades Project, is administered by the Central Valley Flood Protection Board and executed by Westervelt Ecological Services. Located in Colusa County, California, specifically on the left bank levee of the Sacramento River within the Butte Basin, the project focuses on the authorization of existing infrastructure and the addition of new conservation structures. The scope of work includes authorizing a power pole, well, pump, three sand media filters, and a footing pad associated with a six-inch steel irrigation pipe. Additionally, the project involves the construction of a timber-framed shade structure and up to six raptor perches and barn owl boxes. This permit supplements and supersedes Permit No. 11540 and Permit No. 11540-A, which were originally issued to Wilearlee Walnuts in 1976.
