Full Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue a solicitation for the provision of Pharmacy Technician service for the federal Correctional Institution located in Talladega, Alabama. The contract period shall consist of the Effective Date of Award through September 30, 2018 and four 12 month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. It is estimated the contractor will provide 1880 sessions per year. A session will equal one (1) hour. These services will be required five (5) days per week, normally consisting of eight, one (1) hour sessions per day, Monday through Friday (except Federal holidays). Work hours will be scheduled normally between the hours of 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch period, (if applicable). The facility is expected to require an average of 40 sessions per week. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) system at www.sam.gov. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is August 21, 2017, 2:00 P.M. CT, however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to the solicitation (1449 -Block #08) for the actual date quotations are due. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 621999 with a size standard of $15 million. This solicitation will be a total small business set-aside. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
