The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Solicitation Notice for Picnic Shelter and Concrete Picnic Table Demolition, Northfield Brook Lake, Thomason, CT.


THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, labor and transportation necessary to perform the following work:


  1. Demolish and dispose of one (1) wooden shelter, including the associated roofing materials, concrete pad, asphalt apron and grill. Shelter and concrete pad footprint is approximately 40’x 23’ and shelter is approximately 15’ at peak height.  All structurally sound post and beam materials shall be salvaged and set aside in a designated on-site area for Government re-use.
  2. Demolish and dispose of seventeen (17) concrete picnic tables and all associated concrete pads.
  3. Backfill and restore any disturbed areas with topsoil and grass seed.

This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 562119 with a Small Business Size Standard of $47 Million.


ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
