Full Description

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to award an order to Pitney Bowes to receive postage meters and annual maintenance on its existing 32 mailing systems, in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures. Since the mailing systems require the same brand of postage meters, Pitney Bowes is the sole provider of the required meters and maintenance. The period of performance is 10/1/2015 through 9/30/2016. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, firms that believe they can fully meet the Government's needs may submit substantiating written documentation to the identified point of contact by the date specified in this notice. Such documentation will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a competitive basis, based upon the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
