Platform Integration Kits H-46

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Air Combat Electronic Program Office (PMA-209), intends to issue a firm-fixed-price delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-08-G-0016 with Rockwell Collins Government Systems (RCGS). NAVAIR is assigned responsibility for the planning, programming, budgeting, procurement, installation, operation, and support of the Air Combat Electronics programs. PMA209 intends to task Rockwell Collins to provide Platform Integration Kits for the AN/ARC-210(V) EP radios and/or components for H-46. The kits shall be comprised of the following items to be purchased under this order: a quantity of eight (8) 30-512 MHz Antenna, Chelton P/N 12-190-530LPP4, quantity eight (8) Logic Converter, Chelton P/N 7-163PIN160 and quantity eight (8) R.F. Gasket, Chelton P/N 6930A/12-190-530LP. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: As Rockwell Collins is the sole developer of the ARC-210 Family of products and related ancillary equipment and maintains the proprietary rights to this radio, it is the only source capable of providing the required efforts.
