The City of Pooler is soliciting bids for a unit price construction project to build approximately 3,725 linear feet of roadway at Pooler Parkway at Benton Boulevard, Mill Creek Circle, and the I-95 southbound ramps. The scope of work includes the modification of signalized intersections, construction of sidewalks, drainage improvements, and the installation and maintenance of erosion, sediment, and pollution control BMPs. All work must be performed in accordance with the latest Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Standard Specifications and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Key technical requirements include the use of powder coated mast arms for signal poles, battery backups at all intersections, and strict adherence to City of Pooler Detail P-15 for subgrade compaction and fiber reinforcement. To minimize traffic disruption, lane closures and equipment movement are prohibited on specified routes between 7:00 am to 9:00 am and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
