The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration is seeking proposals for PBX Telecommunications Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System Maintenance Services. This secondary competition is strictly limited to Master Contractors previously awarded under the PBX IV Telecommunications Equipment and Services Master Contract 001B0600162. The scope of work involves providing maintenance and support for MS Technologies IVR systems integrated with SV9500 PBX communications servers at various MTA sites throughout Maryland. The requirements are divided into three functional areas: hardware and software assurance, manufacturer extended warranty and maintenance services on a monthly fixed fee basis, and time and material labor for move, add, and change activities. The period of performance is estimated to run from February 23, 2027, through December 31, 2030. Award will be based on the most advantageous proposal to the State, with technical merit carrying greater weight than price. Key evaluation factors include functional requirement alignment, experience in repairing the specified equipment, technician certifications, proximity to MTA sites, and inventory management for catastrophic failure recovery. Proposals must be submitted via email by November 12, 2026, consisting of a password-protected technical proposal in Word format and a financial proposal in Excel format. Winning vendors must adhere to Maryland State Information Technology Security Policies and provide capabilities for 25 percent growth in system networking and IVR ports.
