Military Sealift Command (MSC) Ship Support Unit (SSU) San Diego has a requirement for services of an authorized marine GM EMD service company, including all labor, material and tools, to accomplish the following: Conduct a 360 degree inspection and conduct firing/compression pressure tests (as outlined in the statement of work) for the port and starboard main propulsion diesel engines (GM EMD 20-645-E7B). For estimating purposes, contractor shall include in their estimate the replacement of 3 each power pack on the SME (Cylinders #12, 19 and 20). The 360 degree inspection and compression tests shall determine whether or not the replacement of 3 each power packs are warranted.
