The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQP05041300005 for the provision of Post-Secondary Education Services to be provided for the inmate population at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) located at Bryan, TX. Classes will be taught in the areas of: Information Management, Medical Transcription, Small Business Program, Accounting Technician (two classes), and Heating Ventilation/Air Conditioning (HVAC). Each class will be comprised of an estimated 20 - 24 student attending the courses for each contract period. Classes will be taught five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays. In addition, evening classes will be required Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays. Schedules may be subject to change per mutual agreement of the parties. The contract will consist of a 12 month base period with four (4) additional twelve month option year periods. Classes will consist of 720 hourly sessions except for HVAC which will consist of 96 instructional hours performed yearly. The contract type will be an indefinite delivery/requirement type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 611310, with a small business size standard of $25.5 million.
