The City of Atlanta, through its Department of Transportation, is initiating a multi-step competitive sealed bidding process to secure qualified contractors for emergency on-call services including debris removal, snow and ice abatement, obstruction clearance, and disaster response. The process begins with a qualification phase followed by an Invitation for Bid, with the goal of selecting one or more responsible vendors capable of rapidly mobilizing to clear snow, ice, and non-hazardous debris from City-owned roadways, bridges, culverts, sidewalks, crosswalks, parking lots, and rights-of-way. Contractors must provide all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, and trained operators with proper supervision, and must be fully licensed, certified, and insured to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
