AI Contract Overview
This pre-qualification solicitation, RFA-126428, issued by the County of Fairfax, Virginia, concerns the renovation of maintenance shops at the Noman M. Cole JR. Water Recycling Facility. The scope of work involves comprehensive interior demolition and reconstruction across Buildings A, A2, and T, including the installation of new partitions, doors, and finishes. Additionally, the project requires the procurement and relocation of shop equipment and the full replacement of HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and electrical components. Because the facility is an advanced wastewater treatment plant operating continuously with high flow capacities, all construction must be executed in separate phases. This phased approach is mandatory to ensure that the facility remains operational and to accommodate other ongoing construction projects within the site. Interested parties must submit their responses by September 10, 2026.
