The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) intends to award a sole source contract to, Leica Microsystems Inc., Deerfield, IL 60015. This requirement is for authorized approved vendors to perform services for brand name equipment. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals however If interested Government shall consider all responses.
The requirement is for a service contract from the OEM, Leica Microsystems Inc. This contract must have a base year and 4 optional years so that it spans a 5-yr period. The Premium Care Service Plan package choice as quoted from the company includes: Unlimited service visits by a Leica-Microsystems trained and qualified field service engineer, unlimited Replacement service parts, components, or modules necessary for repairs, excluding consumables, and any 3rd Party parts.
