Pressure Tester

The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a contractor to supply, install, and train personnel on two automated pressure test systems—one pneumatic and one hydraulic—for use at the Product Test Center in Columbus, Ohio. The pneumatic system must generate pressures from 0 to 1,500 psi using built-in, precisely controlled pumps, operate on standard 110v power with battery backup, and include touchscreen controls and datalogging capabilities to detect and record electrical switch activity during pressure cycles. The hydraulic system must handle pressures from 0 bar to 700 bar (0 to 10,000 psi) and be compatible with sebacate oil, including two liters of media, and 1/4 NPT female connectors. Both systems must be certified calibrated, capable of regular recertification, and include all necessary software for automated testing. The contractor is responsible for shipping the equipment to the specified delivery address at Defense Supply Center Columbus, performing on-site installation, initial calibration, functionality verification, and conducting one full day of training for up to three DLA personnel. The work must be completed within 120 days of contract award and can only occur Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., excluding weekends and federal holidays. The contractor must include delivery costs in the proposal and provide a warranty of at least 12 months or the standard OEM commercial warranty, whichever is greater, covering all parts and labor. A 1-year preventative maintenance and recalibration service contract is also required to begin after installation.
