The USDA, Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) intends to issue an award on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-l(b)(l)) to INTEGRA Biosciences Corp, 2 Wentworth DR Hudson, New Hampshire for the require­ment of a preventive maintenance service contract for MEDIACLAVE and MEDIAJET in­struments. The Contractor shall provide on-site maintenance and repairs by a quali­fied technician that ensures the MEDIACLAVE and MEDIAJET instruments are operating safely and within the original manufacturing specifications. 
The contractor shall provide: 


•    Perform one (1) preventative mainte­nance (includes parts/labor) that meets specifications of the manufacturer per each instrument.
•    Temperature calibration and test run with position alignment on-site will be provided with service contract.
•    Firmware update if available
•    Priority service at any malfunction, in­cluding repair. All repair costs are cov­ered that may occur during the year.
•    The contractor shall provide unlimited technical support by phone.
•    The contractor shall maintain an ade­quate inventory of spare parts to ac­commodate the repair of equipment within timeframe of the maintenance agreement.
•    The contractor shall pay charges to ship replacement or repaired equipment to the customer.


The contractor shall perform the tasks above for a period of performance of one (1) twelve (12) month base period with two (2) twelve month option periods available. 
The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811210. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, par­ties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data sufficient to de­termine capability in providing the same or similar supply. All capability statements re­ceived by the closing date of this publica­tion of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on re­sponses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. 


Capability statements shall be submitted only by e-mail as a Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, or Adobe PDF attach­ment to reginald.brown@usda.gov. Statements are due by 12:00pm CDT on 24 May 2026.
