Full Description
The USDA, Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) intends to issue an award on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-l(b)(l)) to INTEGRA Biosciences Corp, 2 Wentworth DR Hudson, New Hampshire for the requirement of a preventive maintenance service contract for MEDIACLAVE and MEDIAJET instruments. The Contractor shall provide on-site maintenance and repairs by a qualified technician that ensures the MEDIACLAVE and MEDIAJET instruments are operating safely and within the original manufacturing specifications.
The contractor shall provide:
• Perform one (1) preventative maintenance (includes parts/labor) that meets specifications of the manufacturer per each instrument.
• Temperature calibration and test run with position alignment on-site will be provided with service contract.
• Firmware update if available
• Priority service at any malfunction, including repair. All repair costs are covered that may occur during the year.
• The contractor shall provide unlimited technical support by phone.
• The contractor shall maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts to accommodate the repair of equipment within timeframe of the maintenance agreement.
• The contractor shall pay charges to ship replacement or repaired equipment to the customer.
The contractor shall perform the tasks above for a period of performance of one (1) twelve (12) month base period with two (2) twelve month option periods available.
The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811210. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar supply. All capability statements received by the closing date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
