The contractor is required to deliver two units of item 1615 / 13027212 within 120 calendar days from contract award for first article testing at the Fleet Readiness Center East in Cherry Point, North Carolina. Government testing must be completed within 150 days of receipt, during which the contractor will receive written notification of conditional approval, approval, or disapproval. These first article units are not counted toward the production quantity and will be retained by the Government, either destroyed during testing or preserved as a manufacturing standard.
