Purchase of leased Water Distribution (9 Each) model 613CCAT613C Water Wagons self-propelled water 5000 gallon capacity distributors. This item was chosen based on the availability of parts in the Army Supply System, water storage capacity, and prov en functionality in the Airborne Engineer Community. The equipment is necessary for dust abatement, soil stabilization, sanitizing hardstands and runways, and even fire-fighting equipment. The proposed purchase will result in the equipment remaining in t he CENTCOM AOR as a theater asset for engineers. The Government intends to purchase current leased water wagons station in Iraq under Contract DABJ25-03-C-0005 on a sole source basis. The sole source acquisition is being made pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Any and all proposals will be considered. Telephonic requests will not be accepted.
