Purchase and Delivery of Ammunition

The County of Orange, through its District Attorney’s Office, is soliciting competitive bids for the purchase and delivery of a wide range of ammunition types, including 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, 5.56mm NATO, .308 Winchester, .50 BMG, and others in both full metal jacket and jacketed hollow point variations, all in quantities of 1,000 rounds per line item. The solicitation, numbered 026-3080503-RA, is fully electronic and must be submitted through the County’s online procurement portal by the deadline of July 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM Pacific Time; no other submission method will be accepted. All bids are subject to evaluation under the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) methodology, where responsiveness and responsibility are prerequisites before price determines award.
