RFQt Small Arms Ammunition

The City of Fort Worth is soliciting bids for the supply of small arms ammunition to support the Police Department Crime Lab on an as-needed basis, under solicitation number 26-0217. The contract, issued as an informal solicitation with a NAICS code of 332992, has a posting date of June 8, 2026, and a response deadline of June 12, 2026. The agreement will have a one-year term with the option for four additional one-year renewals at the City’s discretion, and successful bidders must agree to hold over under the same terms for up to ninety days if needed to facilitate a re-bid. The procurement is not guaranteed to result in a specific volume of purchases, with quantities listed on Bid Table BT-23BO serving only as historical usage estimates. All ammunition must be newly manufactured, with lot numbers and manufacture dates clearly marked on packaging or included on shipping documents and invoices. Vendors must comply with federal regulations from the ATF and DOT regarding packaging, labeling, and shipping, and are prohibited from using the USPS. Shipping must be conducted via approved third-party carriers under F.O.B. Destination, Freight Prepaid and Allowed terms, with all costs including handling, freight, delivery, fuel, and certification fees embedded in the unit price, and no sales taxes permitted due to the City’s tax exemption status. Bidders are required to submit a complete quote packet via the Euna/Bonfire portal, including completed RFQt-01 forms (Instructions to Bidders, W-9, and Conflict of Interest Questionnaire), the Bid Table, and an acknowledgment of compliance with the City’s Standard Terms and Conditions. The Small Business Enterprise Certificate must be provided if applicable. Proposals will be evaluated solely on responsiveness and responsibility; bids must meet all specified requirements to be considered, and only the lowest responsive and responsible bidder will be selected, provided pricing is reasonable and in the City’s best interest. Payment terms are net 30 days, with invoices required to be submitted electronically to supplierinvoices@fortworthtexas.gov, itemized and accompanied by a bill of lading where applicable. Successful bidders must register for direct deposit on the City’s website prior to delivery. Title and risk of loss remain with the vendor until the goods are physically received, inspected, and accepted by a designated representative of the Crime Lab.
