Purchase and Delivery of Ready-Mix Concrete & CLSM - HWY

The County of Ontario Department of Public Works is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of Ready-Mix Concrete and Controlled Low Strength Material (CLSM) under solicitation number B27005. The contract requires the vendor to furnish and deliver these materials F.O.B. within Ontario County upon forty-eight hours' notice, as well as furnish and load precast concrete blocks F.O.B. onto agency trucks at a vendor pit or quarry located within the county. Optional services include the provision and operation of a concrete trailer pump. All materials must adhere to strict quality standards, including ASTM specifications, NYSDOT Standard Specifications Section 501 for concrete and Section 204 for CLSM, and City of Rochester Materials Specifications. Specific requirements for structural concrete include a 6.5% air content and a maximum slump of 4 inches. The agreement is scheduled to run from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2027, with the County reserving the right to renew for up to two additional twelve-month periods. Awards will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible vendor(s). Bids must be submitted by October 21, 2026, at 11:00 am. While the County prefers electronic submissions via its eProcurement Portal, sealed hard copies are also accepted at the Purchasing Director's office in Canandaigua, New York. Required documentation includes a completed bid form, bid schedule, non-collusion affidavit, sexual harassment statement, and proof of liability, workers' compensation, and disability insurance from an A.M. Best A rated or better insurer. Payments will be issued within thirty calendar days of receipt of an approved invoice, provided a current IRS W-9 is on file.
