Allen Enterprises is the exclusive representative and sole distributor of ADB Safegate airfield lighting products in the southeastern United States, and the Lee County Port Authority is procuring these specialized fixtures and replacement parts for Southwest Florida International Airport and Page Field Airport to ensure full compatibility with existing FAA-compliant infrastructure. The procurement is justified as a sole-source acquisition because ADB Safegate components are proprietary, non-interchangeable with other manufacturers’ parts, and essential to maintaining operational integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance. All products must meet FAA specifications and carry ETL certification, and only OEM parts from ADB Safegate, distributed exclusively by Allen Enterprises, are acceptable. Pricing is not fixed but is determined on a case-by-case basis through negotiated quotes as needs arise, with no predefined quantities, line items, or contract value established. Deliveries will occur at the two Florida airport locations, and acceptance is tied to installation and operational readiness, with inspection responsibilities resting solely with the Port Authority’s maintenance and procurement teams. The solicitation, issued under SS 26-0065LB, relies on a sole-source letter from Allen Enterprises dated April 30, 2026, affirming exclusivity, and no standard FAR clauses or formal evaluation factors are utilized. The procurement operates without a structured contract term, delivery schedule, FOB terms, or packaging specifications, and while the contracting office is located in Fort Myers, Florida, no designated contracting officer, COR, or COTR is formally assigned. Payment procedures, accounting codes, and vendor certifications such as UEI, CAGE, or socioeconomic status are not provided, and the entire process hinges on the irreplaceable nature of the ADB Safegate system and the vendor’s unique position as the only authorized distributor in the region.

General Info

Allen Enterprises exclusively supplies ADB Safegate airfield lighting to Lee County Port Authority, FAA-compliant.
