The Indian Health Service (IHS), Portland Area Office intends to modify Purchase Order No. 75H71324P000151 with Central Oregon Radiology Associates (CORA) to extend the period of performance through September 30, 2027, in the amount of $30,000.00, for the continued provision of professional radiology services.

This requirement is for commercial services acquired in accordance with FAR 12.102(a). The contemplated extension will be accomplished through a bilateral modification in accordance with FAR 52.212-4(c), Changes, which provides that changes in the terms and conditions of the contract may be made only by written agreement of the parties.

Central Oregon Radiology Associates currently provides professional radiologists who interpret and diagnose patient X-ray and ultrasound images for IHS. CORA radiologists provide these professional services throughout the Central Oregon area, including hospitals and specialty clinics frequently utilized by IHS patients.

Continued performance by CORA is necessary to maintain continuity of patient care and uninterrupted professional interpretation of patient X-ray and ultrasound studies. CORA radiologists currently read and diagnose imaging for IHS patients and also provide radiology services within the Central Oregon healthcare community where IHS patients frequently receive hospital and specialty care. Continued use of CORA during this interim period supports consistency and continuity in the interpretation of patient diagnostic imaging.

Additionally, the Government requires an estimated six (6) to twelve (12) months to reestablish the necessary RPMS connectivity required to support these services. Extending the existing purchase order during this period will allow radiology services to continue without interruption while the Government completes the connectivity requirements necessary to implement its long-term solution.

The extension through September 30, 2027, is an interim measure while the Government establishes a long-term solution for these radiology services and reinstates the necessary RPMS connectivity. Continuation of CORA's professional services during this period will prevent a lapse or disruption in radiology interpretation services and support timely and continuous patient care while the Government completes its long-term acquisition strategy.

Accordingly, IHS intends to extend Purchase Order No. 75H71324P000151 with Central Oregon Radiology Associates through September 30, 2027, in the amount of $30,000.00, through a written bilateral modification pursuant to FAR 52.212-4(c).

Any questions regarding this notice may be submitted to POR/AO Acquisition (IHS/POR) at PORAOAcquisition@ihs.gov. All responses received will be considered by the Government.
