Full Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement for approximately 5,376 manhours of Integration Production Support related to the SPY-1D(V) Transmitter Group and MK99 Fire Control System (parts of the AEGIS Weapon System (AWS)), for the Korea KDX-III and Japan DDG 2317 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. Specifically, this effort involves emergent engineering requirements, test and evaluation services, and ensuring that AWS design standards and combat system integration criteria are evaluated in the context of AWS/ACS production communities and dealt with consistently among all AWS/ACS equipment manufacturers. Solicitation N00024-04-R-5103 will be issued to Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, 528 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, MA 01776, since this concern is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and existing sole source for many of the AWS components as well as the only source wit h the requisite design, development, production and integration expertise required to perform the subject services.
