The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a level-of-effort contract for Lead Yard Services and Research & Development Services associated with the VIRGINIA Class Submarine Program. The contemplated contract is anticipated to cover a period of five years (one-year base period and four one-year options). Solicitation N00024-09-R-2118 will be issued to Electric Boat Corporation, 75 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340 on a sole source basis. Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Electric Boat Corporation directly. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) site located at www.neco.navy.mil.
