Full Description

The Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) intends to award contracts to three (3) Universities (Georgia Institute of Technology, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Southern Methodist University) to provide functional and technical research to include project management planning and analysis, operation and maintenance, and other technical support for the MCWL's Commercial Hunter exercises. The objective of the exercise is to support decision makers and warfighters in short-term operational assessments, analyses, and countermeasures to tactically disruptive Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) technologies. The services of the institutions will include, but not be limited to, collecting and providing data and information to MCWL in support of analysis intended to identify threats and potential countermeasures and ensuring that the information and data collected are organized so that MCWL can identify and prioritize potential COTS threats to operating forces. The period of performance for the aforementioned effort will be conducted during the week of May 4 -8, 2009. A final report and briefing shall be given on May 8, 2009.
