The FISCN Contracts Department, Philadelphia Division, intends to modify contract N00189-07-C-Z120 to incorporate medical clerk services for the Urgent Care Clinic at the Naval Hospital Oak Harbor, Washington. This short-term modification runs from April 1, 2010, through September 30, 2010, providing a bridge period while a long-term contract is solicited for a October 1st start date. America's Staffing Partner has been identified as the uniquely qualified contractor for this requirement due to their existing provision of medical clerk services at the facility. The services are critical for maintaining the standard of care at the hospital's only walk-in urgent care facility, ensuring efficient patient intake and coordination with other departments. This action is being pursued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 561110. Failure to secure these staffing services by the April 1st deadline would jeopardize the clinic's ability to deliver timely and necessary medical treatment to its patients.

Full Description

FISCN Contracts Dept, Phila Div intends to modify contract N00189-07-C-Z120 for medical clerk services at the Naval Hospital Oak Harbor, Washington to add services for the Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) from April 1, 2010 through September 30, 2010 pursuant to FAR 12. This modification will provide sufficient time for the Phila Div to solicit a long-term contract for these services to start on October 1st. America's Staffing Partner, the contractor for the above contract, is uniquely qualified to satisfy this short-term requirement since it already holds a contract with the government to provide medical clerk services at the Naval Hospital Oak Harbor. The UCC is the only walk-in urgent care facility at the hospital and its workload is sometimes heavy. Continuity of medical clerk services at the UCC is essential to assure timely intake of patients and timely coordination of treatment with other hospital departments. Failure to contract for staff to support the UCC by April 1st jeopardizes the UCC's ability to deliver treatment meeting the standard of care required for its patients.
