The United States Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is conducting a Direct Conversion with Cost Comparison Study to evaluate clerical support services currently performed by government personnel at its Casper, Wyoming office. The study falls under NAICS Code 561110, which covers Office Administrative Services. This announcement is not a solicitation or request for proposal but a sources-sought notice to gauge industry interest and capabilities. Companies interested in potentially competing for the future contract must respond via email by April 4, 2003, providing detailed information about their business size and status, including certifications related to small, disadvantaged, veteran-owned, HUBZone, or woman-owned business designations. No contract will be awarded if the cost of outsourcing exceeds the cost of government performance. The solicitation, expected to be released around April 21, 2003, will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website. Interested parties should send their responses exclusively by email to the specified contact and include their return mailing, telephone, and fax information along with their business classification details in accordance with NAICS 561110 guidelines.
