R--OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE SUPPORT FOR AEGIS SHORE SITES AND CENTERS, MOORESTOWN NJ

The Naval Sea Systems Command is seeking to extend its existing contract with Lockheed Martin, Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems (LMNESS), to provide continued engineering, logistics, quality assurance, configuration management, and administrative support at the AEGIS Shore Sites and Centers in Moorestown, NJ. This extension, lasting six months, is intended to ensure uninterrupted operations and maintenance support critical to the AEGIS Weapon Systems. Lockheed Martin is uniquely qualified as the sole developer and producer of these systems, possessing exclusive knowledge and expertise necessary for maintaining these operations. The procurement will be conducted under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) through negotiations with LMNESS, reaffirming their role as the only viable contractor for this work. While the primary contract extension is with Lockheed Martin, subcontracting opportunities may be available, and interested companies are encouraged to contact LMNESS directly.
