The solicitation closed multiple times with successive extensions, culminating in a final response deadline of July 30, 2026, after quantities were increased from 7 to 18 units. The contracting office, located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, under the Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, requires all technical inquiries, engineering change proposals, deviations, and waivers to be submitted in writing with exact documentation referencing MIL-STD-973.
